Lady Flutter

I've always thought of Summer Wings as "Actual Size". I had a Lady Flutter (who is NOT a Flutter Pony) as a kid that made a great fairy companion among the plants and flowers. I still have her somewhere, but the one pictured belongs to my partner--buying them as an adult saves them a lot of abuse.

I screwed up a lot on this one. For a while she looked more like a Flaafy than a pony. x_x The background helped a lot though. It's sad that one of the more forgiving traits of Sharpies, being able to color over and dissolve mistakes, doesn't work with white, because there is no white marker! It'll be a long time before I'm brave enough to try a white pony! As it was, I had to completely change her pose because of the white hair.

This is probably a 16-inch-ish balloon, but I don't think it's a Qualitex (it's fluted), a Perfect Products (too small) or a Tufftex (not soft). Ah, the hazards of "found" balloons. Pictured on the right is, of course, Lady Flutter.
